We moved to MS Exchange and Outlook in Office 365 from another email server. Using Thunderbird is super slow compare to Outlook, but Outlook doesn't have an extremely extremely productive Thunderbird add-on Nostalgy. In Nostalgy, I can go to a folder by typing 'g' and type the folder name, select from the list and hit enter. I made a keyboard shortcut for it in Keyboardmaestro. Similar move/copy message features are present in Nostalgy among others.
Similar while composing the email, I would like to change font and text size, text color and indent text -- the most common operations I do. Again, I was not able to it. Please share if you were able to crack it.
By any chance, have you been able to incorporate something along these lines into a keyboard maestro created window or palette, which can be called to show this in a window of choice from which to select?
I use launchbar for general navigation on the Mac. And being able to refer recently edited files (not necessarily for opening the files, could be for moving it to a different folder) through keyboard shortcuts is what I was trying to achieve.
I am going to try the If key down then approach - but it sounds like you are suggesting that I try to use AppleScript. I will try to take a crack at it - I am certain I will bungle and not be able to solve it. Applescript appears to be such voodoo...
Password managers must still deal with the vagaries of websites that require passwords to contain at least one number, a piece of punctuation from a permissible list, and an eye of newt. The last item might be a joke. (These policies are designed to ensure the most cracking-resistant password if a user chooses to enter one of only the minimum length.) But at least you can use the password manager to generate the best strong password under the circumstances.
An attacker can discover passwords in two primary ways: research and cracking. With research and manipulation, an attacker can extract secrets about you through social engineering (fooling a customer-service representative), phishing your password from you, or poring over credit reports and available online data.
The other method attackers use is cracking passwords, trying to match a password by testing every possible value, starting with the shortest and most likely guesses. Those guesses might incorporate socially engineered and researched information about you in particular or a mass of users at a given website.
I heard an interview once with someone who claimed to have invented the uppercase, lowercase, number and symbol formula and regretted it because there are only 10 numerals vs. 26 letters, and a similar limit applies to the easily typed symbols. Adding a random alphabetical letter to a password makes it harder to crack than adding a number.
You end by a LC/UC/N/S brute-force attack. If we limit S to the set of 94 printable ascii symbols (0x21-0x7e), each one-char increase in password length increases the brute-force time by (26 + 26 + 10 + 94)x = 156x, so a 10-character password using LC/UC/N/S costs 156^10 = 8.54e+21 tries. A system that could crack a 10-char LC-only password in 1 minute would take about 10 millenia to crack an LC/UC/N/S password of the same length.
I'm having this same problem, just in the past few days, with an external original Cinema display with its original adapter (DVI?) plus a USB-C to DVI adapter. This worked fine previously, though I'd occasionally have to crack open the MacBook lid and then close it again to wake up the monitor; now when I close the lid it completely freezes the external monitor (static image not responding to mouse or keyboard input) until I open the lid again, when all is normal.

I bought the APPLE clear MagSafe case for my iPhone 12 Max Pro. I dropped my phone in the bathroom and the case cracked at one of the corners. I assumed Apple would replace it but they would not. The case cost $50 and I am sure cost less than 50 cents to make.
Greetings,Could not find a previous issue on this, but I am having a strange cracking sound during playback of the piano tracks. I will upload a file below. This seems to have popped up relatively recently. If I change to another keyboard instrument (piano to harpsichord, for example) the crackling sound goes away, but comes back when I switch back. So definitely tied to the piano.
Ditto. This time in the strings. Horrific crackling upon playback. Disabled soundcard in order to use the motherboard audio drivers and motherboard audio jack. Still the same problem. Changing to an entirely different soundfont does not correct the problem. Checked memory performance monitor, CPU and memory usage around 30% with 11.3 GB available with Musescore loaded. Loading and playing several different scores has no effect - still crackles. Restarting program and rebooting computer has no effect. Still crackles. Crackling sometimes changes in amount of crackling if you play a section over again, so it's not the same crackling. Sounds like a bad ground, but headphones tests okay by playing video and audio files, and YouTube videos. Seems to me like there is an audio driver in Musescore that's gone awry.
I have reverted to factory settings by uninstalling the program. Before I did that, I saves my files and deleted the Musescore folders. Then I did a clean install of Musescore 3.6.2 that I had previously downloaded. Still getting the crackling and now with a slowdown that seems to occur on the beat. Doesn't matter which score I load. Next I will investigate whether rolling back a Windows update or two might fix it. I'm hopeful that's the cause because the program was working up to about last week when I first noticed slight intermittent crackling. Today it's just horrific and unlistenable.
