Before connecting the Bluetooth unit to the printer for wireless printing, first connect the printer to the computer with a USB cable, and install the printer driver either via download from our Web site or by using the Apple Software Update utility.
Go to this site: In the search box, type: ip90You'll get a bunch of results. Now before you rush and click any of the Download buttons, spot one of the drivers that has either Windows 10 (or Windows 8 or 8.1 - those are compatible) in the Products column, then click the corresponding entry in the Title column. You should get an Overview. The important bit is the Architecture: X86, AMD64, or ARM64. Make sure it matches your system. If that's not the right one, then look at one of the other entries until you find the one with Windows 8/8.1/10 that also matches your architecture. If you don't know what architecture you have, click on Start -> Settings (gear icon) -> System -> About. It should tell you under System Type:32-bit OS = X8664-bit OS + x64 CPU = AMD6464-bit OS + ARM CPU = ARM64Once you've located the matching row, go to the right and click Download. The file will be a .cab file. In most cases it will download to your Downloads folder. Extract with a program such as 7-zip or winrar (right-click and extract).
Now for installation.Turn your printer on and connect the USB cable to your computer.Go to Start -> Programs -> Windows System -> Control PanelClick View Devices and PrintersIf the printer doesn't have drivers installed, you should see ip90 under Unspecified. Right-click it and pick Properties.Click the Hardware tab. Click Canonip90. Click Properties.Click the Driver tab. Click Update Driver. Click Browse my computer for drivers.Click Browse then navigate to your Downloads folder (or for advanced users: to the folder you extracted the .cab file).
